You Drag Me Headfirst FEARLESS

On September 5, 2009 turned out to be the BEST day of my ENTIRE life. Not only did I get to see an AMAZING concert, but I got to meet the amazing person who headlined it. Taylor Swift. Before I get to that, I will get to the opening acts,

First up was Gloriana. They played about five songs, their great live! I love their music, it's killer. They sang my favorite song Lead Me On. Absolutely loved it! Definitely recommend picking up their CD.

After Gloriana's set, it was Kellie Pickler, man that girl is just amazing! She has an incredible voice, I couldn't get over how awesome it was. She was hilarious. One of the songs she sang I Wonder was so hard to watch. Kellie Pickler being from North Carolina(Albermarle) made it more hard for her to sing the song. It's about her relationship with her mom. In the middle of the song she started tearing up and crying which totally made me cry. Kellie is such a strong girl! She said that playing in Charlotte, NC was the best concert because she got to be in her hometown. Kellie played about 6 songs, all very amazing! I'm definitely planning on going to see her again in October.
Now onto the main one. TAYLOR SWIFT! Before Taylor came on, they showed us this video about what it means to be Fearless. Which features stars like Miley Cyrus, Patrick Dempsy, Demi Lovato, & others which can be seen on YouTube.com/User/TylerHiltonFan23. Taylor opened up the concert with her hit You Belong With Me which was crazy awesome!! There really is a lot I can say about the Taylor Swift concert, too much! So here are some inserts and such. Not really in order.

• She had a video playing of all the guys she wrote a song about and included their names and what life is like for them now that they were in a Taylor Swift song. It was HILARIOUS! I don't have them all, I'm sure you can find it on YouTube, I just have the one of Tyler Hilton's who played Drew in her song Teardrops on my Guitar. They were all really funny.
  
• One of my favorite parts of the concert was when Taylor was singing Should've Said No. If any of you are familiar with her ACM performance last year when she sang the song then towards the end of it rain came down and had words on it and she walked into the rain and started singing, yeah she did that at her concert! It was AMAZING!! I didn't know she did that on her Fearless Tour.

• One of my favorite songs Forever & Always was really killer. I was waiting for her to play that song. I thought it was totally cute when she singing the song she went down and grabbed a fans hand and held onto it while her body was to the ground and she was doing that for a bit, I thought that was too cute! I don't need to talk too much about it because the video is on my Youtube page, but I loved it!
  
• Another song I was looking forward to was What Goes Around Comes Around I totally loved Taylor's hand gestures about Joe Jonas like when she sang "is this how we say goodbye" she pretended to have a phone upto her ear. Then at the end she goes "Boy you got what you deserved!" everyone went NUTS!!

Now onto the part that made my LIFE!haha...

Taylor got done with her song and lights went dark and she disappeared, I was just standing there waiting for her to come back onto the stage and after a couple minutes I started hearing screaming behind me, I was like what could they possibly be screaming about since Taylor isn't even on the stage yet! I decided to look behind me and THERE WAS TAYLOR IN MY SECTION AT THE TOP! I seriously couldnt believe it. Once I saw her I ran up the steps(I was only maybe 10 rows away from her to begin with) and got video. She was singing Hey Stephen, everyone was going crazy and I admit I was too, who wouldnt?ha. Anyways so shes playing the song which can also be seen on my YouTube page and then she tosses her guitar to her stage manager and SHE STARTS COMING DOWN THE STEPS! She was giving people hugs along the way and saying hi and grabbing peoples hands and so once she got to me I put out my camera to get a photo and SHE STOPS TO TAKE A PHOTO WITH ME! The security people were trying to push her to go down but she waited for the picture to take. I was shaking like crazy! No joke, I literally started crying because I just couldnt believe that something like this actually happened to me! How many singers do that that are as big as Taylor? Most of them would probably just keep walking down the steps, but no, she stopped and waited for the picture to take before walking down. Totally made me respect her a million times more. 16,000 SCREAMING FANS SAW ME TAKE A PICTURE WITH TAYLOR! I didn't even know they had me on the big screens until I got like 5 text messages from my friends who were at the concert say they saw me meet her! I went to look at my picture and it was on friggin zoom!! I was soo pissed! I tried catching upto but no luck, I was hoping that someone aruond me had the picture but they said they didnt(liars!) but luckily 2 of my favorite twins ever did! They got a photo from the big screens of me taking a picture with TAYLOR!! Guys!! You are amazing, without you guys, I seriously would have never even gotten a picture of me and her! You have no idea how thankful I am!
She got to a little stage that was right in front of where I was and sang a couple of songs, but honestly, I have no idea what songs she even sang! My mind was so out of it from meeting her that I had no idea what was going on. Just to even meet her was a dream come true for me, I've been a big Taylor Swift fan since 2006, but everytime she came I was either out of town or the cheapest tickets I could find was $60 bucks and I didn't want to pay that much to hear her play like 4 songs and when she did come and I was home I would sit in my car outside the arena and listen to her play her set.

Gloriana and Kellie Pickler came out to sing I'm Only Me When I'm With You and at the end of the song heart shaped confetti shot out and it was AWESOME! Then she sang Love Story which I LOVED! Before she came on, her dancers were in ballroom costumes dancing and then the curtains open and Taylor is in a beautiful dress and the background is like the actual music video, i just loved it, it was sweet!

I don't even remember what the last song Taylor sang , no joke after what happened I pretty much wasn't even there mentally. ha.

Afterwards I met up with Amy & Emily in line for the Gloriana meet & greet and let me tell you! People are so friggin rude! Seriously, we were told not to let people walk through the line to get to the exit by security and people would not listen! Some actually went through us even after we told them not to. It's not our fault! Whatever. So we waited in line, met these other 2 girls in line who seemed pretty cool. We got to the Meet & Greet, which they rushed people like crazy, so I go upto Mike and tell him that I love reading his tweets and he was saying how he's starting to get used to it and how hes addicted to it and then Cheyenne is next and I tell her that I met her 3 years ago when it was just her in Charlotte and she goes "no way! that's so awesome!" then I get to Tom & Rachel and tell them that I love the CD and their music and they said thank you and I walked off. Kind of. Emily & Amy had drawn & painted these AMAZING pictures of them and so I was waiting for them because they were talking to the Gloriana people about getting a bigger size of it or something?lol. So I waited, the security guy told me I had to leave, but then I told him that I was waiting for them and I got to talking to him and he was telling me about Taylor that day, how she was walking around the arena and how she had been there since 8am and then after talking to him their bass player who was taking pictures goes "don't even worry about him" to me and I got to talk to him for a bit, totally hot!! haha. Really nice guy. Then we departed. When I left like right down the street I saw Taylor's Tour Bus in a small parking lot, it looked really nice from the outside! Sneaky little people parked it down the street so no one would find her. ha.

That was my night. Literally by FAR THE BEST CONCERT I WILL PROBABLY EVER GO TO. If she's in your town, I would definitely reccommend it because let me tell you, it will be a night that you will NEVER forget!
