LAX to Philly.

So I flew from LAX to Philly to go to NC today. You always hope you get someone famous or cool flying on your flight, but I didn't even think about it this time around. It was a boring flight. Just like any other time I flew. The flight was just about five hours long. The plane landed in Philly. Everyone started getting up and getting their things from the overbin. I got up and looked around and a familiar face caught my eye. I took a few takes but thought nothing of it. You get people who look like celebs a lot, didn't think anything of it. As I took my last look, I knew it was her. It was Audrina from the MTV show The Hills! She was in the 5th row, I was in the 6th row! I was on a flight with Audrina for nearly FIVE HOURS and didn't even know it! If I had known I would have gone upto her and talked to her! So she left, then I left so I could try and catch upto her and get a pic. We got out of the entry way. There was one part of me that still wasn't too sure it was her. So I called her name and she turned around and I asked for a pic. She asked if I was on the flight and I told her yes and she was like "didn't that flight seem like it was forever!?" I agreed 100%! Long and boring! We talked for a bit about the flight and stuff. She was extremely nice! Like I wasn't too sure how she was in person because I've heard different things, but she really could not have been anymore nicer. I had to catch my flight and she had to go to NJ. Seriously. That would have been the best friggin flight EVER if I had known that she was on that flight! ha. But today definitely was a good day to fly. I'm soo glad that the LAX to Charlotte was overbooked or else I would have never met her!

Harmonies for Haiti

So last night I went to the Harmonies for Haiti concert that Chelsea Staub from the Disneychannel show JONAS was hosting. All procedes went to help out in Haiti, which I thought was incredibly awesome, most concerts you go to only half the procedes go to help. Me and Mad got inside around 7:00, show started at 7:30. Ran into Tyler (Hilton) and his dad before the show. So we were standing there, then girls started screaming and looking up and I looked up and behold, there was little Jonas Brother, Nick Jonas. Okay, I'm not Jonas Brother fan anymore, but that boy is too darn cute! I couldn't help but stare at him (is that weird?)! He looked my way a lot, no joke, and there was no one behind me. It was weird. I was going to go and meet him, but then I decided not to because I didn't want to miss Drake (Bell)'s set so I didn't. I regret it now since Drake didn't go on until like 30 min after Nick left. Chelsea came on and talked to the audience. Throughout the whole concert they had different disneychannel, Nickelodeon, ABC family & even the dude from Twilight speaking in between acts. My favorite was probably Nick from '10 Things I Hate About You' and the guy who plays his friend on the show. They came out and sang a Ricky Martin song which was friggin hilarious! Normally, I would talk about the people who played, but there were like 14 bands/people who played, half of them I don't even know about. All the songs were too depressing for me! They were really slow and stuff, they were starting to lose the crowd. During a band's set me and Maddie were standing and I was tweeting and I loooked right next to me and was taking double takes, it looked like Cody Linley who play(s, ed) on Hannah Montana as Jake Ryan and Hoot with Brie Larson. After looking hard and telling mad that I thought it was him. It was. I was standing next to him for like 20 minutes, he had his arms wrapped around his girlfriend and they looked totally cute! I was going to ask for a pic, but I didn't want to intrude so I decided not to. So at like 9 something Drake FINALLY came on! I was in heaven. No joke. You have no idea how much I love this boy. Although, he only played like two songs, I was more than glad with that! Those two songs were AWESOME! He left the stage and I walked around for a bit. So an hour later, I was tired, and we had a long drive home and Mad was really sleepy. I wanted to stay for Tyler's set, but I didn't want to keep Mad waiting so I just stayed for half of his 'Sunset Blvd' song. As I was starting to leave, I was bummed that I didn't get to meet Drake again, since he and Tyler were the only ones I came for. So I was starting to leave and I walked up the three steps and went toward the exit when I looked to my left and who did i see? None other than Drake Bell himself! On the inside I was FREAKING OUT! He was talking with some of his friends, I was afraid to walk upto him and ask for a pic, but I was thinking to myself "the worst he could do was say no" and I would regret never asking. So I slowly walked upto him and tapped him on the shoulder and asked for a picture and told him I flew all the way out from North Carolina to see him and he goes "Are you fucking serious!? That's so awesome!" Then he asked for my name (ironically, the three times I've met him before, I never told him my name). We talked for a bit about his new music, his old CD's, tour, etc. He turned around and told his friends that I flew out for the concert, he was so excited that someone flew that far to see him play. It was totally cute! He could not have been any nicer! He was definitely a little drunk! haha. I was talking to him like face to face, literally our faces were like a few inches apart and I could smell the alcahol. haha. His friend asked if I wanted them to take the photo so I said yes. We ended up taking like three pictures because his friend who was also might I add a little drunk couldn't get the picture to take. So the first time I was in the middle of talking telling him to hold down the button, the second time Drake was making fun of him and telling him he's a horrible picture taker, then the third time the picture was good, a little blurry, but I'll take it! So he thanked me for coming out and I thanked him and he gave me a hug (I died). Then I left.

Overall the concert was really good and I'm glad that I got a chance to be there, especially since all the procedes go to Haiti. Definitely worth the trip!! =) I only took a few pics (mostly of Drake) since my camera wasn't allowed and I had to sneak the pictures. ha.

Imperfect is the new Perfect

January 22, 2010- @ The Evening Muse in Charlotte, NC

January 23, 2010 @ Local 506 in Chapel Hill, NC

Caitlin Crosby is probably one of the most down-to-earth and nicest person I have ever met. You wont find Caitlin partying, stumbling out of clubs, flashing the cameras, etc. like most of the people who are in the "Hollywood" scene. Caitlin grew up around the people you may see on television, movies or singing so she knows a great deal of what goes on in the scene and what we see isn't really what they appear to be. Although Caitlin can be seen on episodes of "That's So Raven", "Malcolm in the Middle", etc, her passion is singing and body image issues. Caitlin's debut CD "Flawz" came out in May 2009 which has a variety of songs. Anywhere from accepting who you are as a person to the generation that were in right now. Songs such as 'Flawz' and 'Imperfect is the New Perfect' are songs based on accepting who you are and embracing your flaws whatever they may be and not being like everyone else, like the girls you see in the magazines who are skinny. So your not a size 0, who cares! Unlike singers/songwriters who are singing about going to the clubs, getting drunk, partying, Caitlin writes songs that are passionate and that mean something in the world and that have messages behind them which I love. I got the chance to see Caitlin for the first time when she was on tour with William Fitzsimmons and Slow Runner in November of 2008. She played an incredible set, full of energy! I had talked to Caitlin on Myspace a few times before then and she seemed extremely nice, even then, I wasn't really sure how she was in real life until I met her. I could not believe how nice she was! Normally you go to concerts, even small ones and the person singing will just be like "hi, how are you? It was nice meeting you. yada yada" but with Caitlin it was totally different! She's the type of person who actually listens and cares as to what your saying. She makes you feel welcomed and talks to you as if you are a friend and not a random person. That night I heard about Love Your Flawz (http://www.loveyourflawz.com/) for the first time that she and actress/singer/songwriter Brie Larson were doing. It's amazing, very inspiring! Definitely recommend checking out the music video for it! I left the concert an even bigger fan of hers. People like Caitlin don't get the recognition they deserve and should be known by everyone, I wanted to help spread the word and message about her so I decided to make her a Street Team to help promote her. As Caitlin's career continues to grow, so will her fan base. With the launch of her 'Flawz' video, Caitlin has gained a large amount of fans. She's made a huge impact in peoples lives and in helping them realize that it's okay to be different and to get past the little things or whatever they may be. She can be seen on tour right now with Matt Hires and American Idol's Jason Castro. One day she's going to change the world, she just doesn't know it yet.

Texas Ya'll!
